  • Vacancy Service Driver (Christchurch Jaguar Land Rover)
  • Responsibilities

    • Organising the timely collection and delivery of customer vehicles for service or repair
    • Noting any damage on vehicles being collected and bringing them to the attention of the customer and General Aftersales Manager
    • Moving vehicles between compounds and dealerships
    • Notifying the Service team of any customer issues or problems with dealership vehicles (e.g. courtesy cars), and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the required standard
    • Checking in new car deliveries
    • Ensuring any additional service or repair requirements identified by the customer are passed on to the Service team
    • Communicating to customers the details of work completed, invoice and handover pack on the vehicle’s return
    • Supporting the Service and Sales teams to achieve their objectives and working with colleagues across the dealership to investigate and resolve customer complaints
    • Maintaining a professional manner and high standards of personal and vehicle presentation at all times
    • Adhering to legal, environmental and health and safety requirements, ensuring the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times
    • Assisting with general maintenance requirements on the site such as weeding and clearing leaves

    To be a success in this role, you will have

    • An aptitude for building positive customer relationships; you will enjoy working in a team and supporting colleagues wherever possible
    • Effective communication skills and be smartly presented
    • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise
    • Manual handling experience
    • Awareness of how to protect yourself and others through strict adherence to relevant health and safety requirements; and
    • Full UK driving licence, good knowledge of the local geographical area and previous driving experience

    Working hours

    Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6pm; and alternate Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm
