Job Title: Systems Engineer
are a leading global VFX company with offices in London, Vancouver and Mumbai. In the Systems team we are in charge of designing, building and maintaining
all the IT infrastructure across the company globally. Our head office is in
London, where most of the infrastructure and team is located.
Key Purpose of
We are looking for someone with a security background to join the team, and to work
on a year long security project. The project aims to ensure that our network
infrastructure has been designed and built with the appropriate level of
security. This will involve developing the templates and tools for automating
the configuration of security systems, access permissions and network
A role in Systems is a varied one and
you would be expected to get involved in project work as well as support. Our
systems team manage thousands of machines in the computer farm, multiple petabytes
of production storage and backups, networks, firewalls and database servers and
also handle things such as internal web applications, pipeline tools for
managing the film production process, email systems, screening rooms and
is not an exhaustive list of requirements, but we're looking for individuals
with some of the following:
Understanding of networks and network security requirements in a secure
Knowledge of firewalls, Proxy servers, IDS systems and network security
hardware and software.
Knowledge of other relevant security technologies and processes, e.g.
encryption and authentication methods/ methodologies.
Experience handling projects throughout their lifecycle, including requirements
capture, analysis, planning, design, implementation and testing.
Track record of designing and deploying network security solutions.

XFS, NFS, CIFS, Netapp.
Arista, Palo Alto, HP and Dell networking.
Python, perl or bash.
Sensu, graphite, saltstack, jenkins, elasticsearch, logstash.
