    Key Purpose of the Role:

    To design and create creature and character concept artwork to a brief provided by a client, VFX supervisor or head of art department


    Main Responsibilities and Duties:

    Rapidly generate and adapt ideas to a specific brief and within tight deadlines working closely with the client or head of art department.
    Complete detailed presentation artwork to a high standard.
    The ideal candidate will be proficient in both digital sculpting and painting, and able to design and visualise a range of creatures and human characters, both fantastic and naturalistic: they will be able to give them life and presence, and be aware of the demands of rigging and animation.


    Skills and Experience:

    Thorough knowledge of creative and artistic methods and techniques.
    Excellent understanding of anatomy.
    Experience on feature films an advantage.
    Demonstrable skill in 3D tools such as ZBrush, Maya and Modo an advantage.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Professional aptitude for time management in relation to bringing multiple priorities and tasks to completion within a set deadline.
